The ‘Breastfeeding Suffolk’ app is built for new mothers who are breastfeeding their newborn. The app features helpful tools that allow mothers to track feed times, record child development milestones and read daily information cards related to their breastfeeding cycle.

The app also contains important contact details for local organisations and links to other helpful information, to ensure new mothers are up to date and informed throughout the full breastfeeding period.

Suffolk Babies was created in the summer of 2016 as a community interest company with two main aims:

• To improve antenatal, postnatal and early childhood education,
• To provide families with choices.

The Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people.

Their purpose is to improve the lives of low-income families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people.

Their mission is to provide items and services to all low-income families in the UK raising disabled or seriously ill children, that they could not otherwise afford or access, and that help improve their quality of life, realise their rights, and remove some of the barriers they face.

Fresh Start new beginnings works through Suffolk and Norfolk, and was set up to provide a therapeutic service for children and young people up to 18 years who have reported being sexually abused and to offer support for their families.

There aim is to help children and young people make sense of the confusion they feel and to teach them coping strategies to deal with the difficulties they face.

They highlight their strengths and potential so that they are able to move from victim to survivor.

If a clinical assessment is wanted for a school-aged child for ADHD or autism, their educational setting is the best place to support a referral.

The Neurodevelopmental pathway provides a single point of access for families to make a referral for children, young people and families who have concerns about Autism, ADHD and/or behaviours that challenge (sometimes known as Neuro-Developmental Disorders - NDD).

The pathway provides a ‘needs led’ approach to families, with access to support with or without a diagnosis.

This Neurodevelopment Pathway is for families with children under 18 who are registered with a Suffolk GP excluding Waveney.
